ENR/FR/RRM 1001 Orientation and Information Systems
(Information Systems Lab Component)
Students who consider themselves "information technology proficient" may
complete the required assignments on their own to receive credit for the lab and
verify their proficiency. These students need not attend any lab sessions after
the first (although note the special equipment needs for Lab 3). To select this option while enrolled in ENR/FR/RRM 1001, a student must
inform the lab instructor (via the e-mail tburk@umn.edu) of their
intention by the beginning of the fifth week of the semester (October 3) AND submit all
required assignments by the end of the seventh week of the semester (October 21). The
assignments should be submitted directly to the instructor (for other than
e-mail submissions, the receptionist in 115 Green Hall will place assignments in
the instructor's PO box - be sure to e-mail the instructor to inform him that
the assignments have been submitted).
