Visit the northern hardwoods at a CFI plot. Discussion will focus on the sampling methods used, things we would like to try and add to the inventory.

Visit the white pine shelterwood areas. Here we can discuss white pine management. I would like to bring up the subject of pine regeneration model problems we are facing.

Pass the blowdown area and the mill. Have you ever seen 5+ million board feet at one time in a mill yard?

Aspen area and talk about the restoration to sawlog species. This uses the "Featured Forest Cover Type" concept we developed using habitat type information developed by Kotar and CFI growth and yield data.
